Flight 370: When is Analysis of Data Considered Fact?

Based on CNN's report (Flight 370 passenger's relative: 'All lives are lost' http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/24/world/asia/malaysia-airlines-plane/index.html?hpt=hp_t1), the Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak informed a relative of a missing passenger on the Flight 370 that "all lives are lost." Basically, he made a statement based on no firm evidence, such as wreckage of the plane, location of the underwater locator beacons, etc.  This is rather interesting!

The Most Logical Location to look for the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

Where is the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370?

My estimated location is @ 11.923449, 62.750473, ± 200 miles, about 600 miles off the coast of Oman.  Below are the facts and my reasoning.

Facts: the MH370 had fuel capacity for 8hr flight (http://goo.gl/QXYz6v), estimated distance traveled  before losing communication = 300 miles (based on http://bit.ly/1fz7x1M, http://bit.ly/1cWKBoq), estimated distance traveled before potentially crashing = 3,000 miles, estimated crash site = 600 miles off the coast of Oman.

Reason: 2 Iranians on boards were travelling on stolen passports (http://goo.gl/L2zCHE). Mr. Mehrdad, 18, headed for Germany, might have helped Mr. Delavar, 29, to hijack the plane & seek asylum in Germany.  They forced the pilot to turn off the transponder & took a sea route to avoid detection.  But they overestimated the plane’s fuel capacity and failed to reach Oman.

What's your thought on this theory?
